Jeff's core practice focuses on government and regulatory law, including municipal, special district, K-12, and higher education law. Linda brings extensive practical, industry experience in construction, government contracting, design, and land use. Before joining Miller Nash, Linda was with Portland Community College for nearly 20 years, including serving as the bond program director and the director of planning & capital construction, where she oversaw improvements, planning, construction, and real estate acquisition for the college.

Brian Esler
Brian’s practice is focused on complex business litigation, intellectual property advice and litigation, construction litigation, defense of financial institutions, and appellate advocacy. He represents a variety of construction industry clients involved in projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, including major public works projects.

Scott MacDonald
Scott focuses on public and private construction contracting and all areas of construction litigation. He is well-versed in structuring and negotiating contracts for traditional project delivery methods, as well as alternative delivery methods such as GC/CM and design-build projects. When in the best interests of clients, he is a stalwart force in formal dispute resolution, but also carries a solution-focused suite of skills to ensure disputes reach the desired outcome.

Christine Taylor
Christi represents a wide range of government and public institutions and focuses her practice on government, municipal, and administrative law, including public records and meetings and public contracting. She also has a background in construction law and assists public and private clients through the process of building complex public improvement projects, including construction contract procurement, drafting, and negotiation.
