Wednesday, February 10, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the decree that, after months of discussions, starts the reform of cooperative banks (the "Decree"). The reform, as stated in the press release issued by the Council of Ministers, aims to eliminate structural weaknesses of the BCC system, such as those resulting from the pattern of activity, exposed to the performance of the economy of the reference territory, nonchédagli organizational structures and the size of the banks themselves.

The main steps of the reform are described in our press release of the Council of Ministers no. 103 published yesterday. For further details of the reform and to confirm the request to wait until the publication of the decree, expected in the coming days. The Decree will also be converted into law and is therefore not excluded that in the conversion are introduced amendments.
