As New Jersey state and county political parties set leadership following the Primary election in June, they should be mindful of upcoming filing deadlines for the Election Law Enforcement Commission, including the required annual filing for the designation of a treasurer and depository, which is due by July 10, 2025. Now is also a good time for state and county party committees to evaluate the need for opening and funding a “housekeeping account” recently permitted in 2023 with the passage of the Elections Transparency Act.
