The City of Providence has extended the deadline for Providence homeowners to reapply for the homestead tax exemption from March 15, 2012 to April 6, 2012. A copy of the homeowner’s vehicle registration bearing the property address and one of the following: driver’s license with the address, homeowner’s insurance policy or automobile insurance policy must be included with the application.
