FTC, DoJ propose changes to HSR Act for more effective, efficient merger reviews -

The FTC, along with the Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Division, proposed changes to the premerger notification form and associated instructions, as well as the premerger notification rules implementing the Hart-Scott Rodino Act. The proposed changes will enable agencies to screen transactions for competition issues more effectively and efficiently.
