Promises, promises – individual pay offers a breach of TULRCA

In Kostal UK Ltd v Dunkley the EAT confirmed that offering a pay deal to individual employees after failing to agree a deal with the recognised union was a breach of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.

You and whose army? EHRC outlines approach to enforcing gender pay gap reporting

The EHRC has published a draft policy document outlining its intended approach to enforcing the Gender Pay Gap Reporting Regulations. Employers who do not publish data by the April 2018 deadline will normally be given a further chance to comply through a process of informal resolution.
