O365 is changing the way we interact with data across our organizations. Join the ACEDS Central Texas Chapter as we dive into the latest features available to legal and compliance. Panelists will provide diverse perspectives from corporate, vendor, and legal practitioners. In addition to demonstration of the latest O365 tools, we will discuss hurdles faced within our organizations and how those challenges can be addressed from privacy, cyber security to eDiscovery and legal operations.

Corning Incorporated

John Addington is a Corporate Ediscovery Advisor currently with Corning’s litigation department. Working in the ediscovery field for many years on the vendor, law firm and corporation sides have provided Mr. Addington a unique perspective and broad area of expertise. He takes the lead in introducing new technologies/processes to improve efficiencies, and reduce costs in the corporate arena. Additionally, Mr. Addington testifies as a corporate representative on ediscovery and knowledge governance topics and often publishes and presents on these topics. He is a Certified Electronic Discovery Specialist and was on a past ACEDS committee that revised the certification criteria. Previous to Corning, Mr. Addington worked at Dell, where he directly managed the ediscovery in Dell’s largest litigation matters such as in Dell’s privatization or the EMC acquisition. As a result, Mr. Addington was a regular recipient of the annual Michael Dell Champion Award in recognition of superior performance.

During his nearly 20 year career, he’s worked across multiple disciplines in internal IT, as a solution architect, trainer, consultant, and in sales. He has a passion for sharing the knowledge he’s gained over this time and has provided training and presented at numerous events including global events like Microsoft Ignite.
