Third-Party Funding of International Arbitration and Litigation will explore what to expect when involving third parties (e.g., investment firms) to fund your litigation or arbitration. Our presenters represent several private investment firms from the United States and Europe and will cover the following topics:

  • Financing international disputes with private investors.
  • Insurance products unique to third-party funding (e.g., in an alternative fee arrangement, purchasing insurance to ensure you receive a success fee).
  • Selling a potential judgment or award before trial or final hearing.
  • The pros and cons of third-party funding for lawyers and clients.
  • Ethical considerations.
