Last week, the North Carolina Senate unveiled and passed their version of the 2023-24 State Budget. With both chambers having now passed a draft budget, the House and Senate will begin negotiating a final version with the goal of sending Governor Roy Cooper a finalized funding bill in June.

This week, lawmakers will continue debating and moving legislation through policy committees and floor votes.
