The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) published a questionnaire on corporate social responsibility for listed companies for the first time on April 17, 2023. The TASE published the questionnaire with the goals of expanding listed companies’ reporting of their ESG (environmental, social, and governance) activities and enabling investors to receive more information about companies’ performance in relation to corporate social responsibility.

The publication of the questionnaire aligns with global trends and reflects the importance of this subject for investors. The TASE examined similar questionnaires from around the world and adapted its questionnaire to companies traded on the TASE. The questionnaire is in English and includes dozens of questions covering ESG activities.

According to the TASE press release, only 70 companies currently publish full ESG reports. Ivri Verbin, the CEO of Good Vision, a leading Israeli consulting firm specializing in corporate social responsibility, helped develop the new questionnaire launched on the TASE. He stated, “This is a simple and user-friendly questionnaire that will help companies unfamiliar with ESG disclosures to align with the accepted practices internationally and make information about their ESG performance accessible to the public.”
