On November 2, 2015, the US State Department published a list of contingent waivers to a host of US sanctions on Iran that would apply to US and non-US persons. Included in the publication is an announcement of waivers that would, if and when they are implemented, allow US entities to sell and export commercial passenger aircraft, spare parts and components to Iran.
