Although details about the new Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework have not yet been made public, this represents a significant step forward in resolving nearly two years of uncertainty for companies transferring data from the EU to the US in the wake of the July 2020 Schrems II decision invalidating the US-EU Privacy Shield Framework.
