Falls remain one of the leading causes of worker deaths in construction. Not surprisingly, one in five construction citations issued by OSHA over the last decade has been for inadequate fall protection.

For many years, Cal/OSHA regulations have differed from the Federal OSHA requirement for fall protection in residential construction and Fed/OSHA is ultimately requiring Cal/OSHA to adopt its six-foot rule for all construction. Join Jackson Lewis P.C. attorneys to discuss this proposed change and what it means for the construction industry in California.

Topics

  • Changes to Cal/OSHA fall protection regulations
  • What it will mean to be compliant with the proposed change

Please note, proposed changes to §1716.2 are expected to be voted on by the Cal/OSHA Standards Board on November 17. Topics and talking points for this webinar may change depending on final outcome.

This program is intended for bona fide members of management. Jackson Lewis reserves the right to limit attendance or deny registration at its discretion.
