The Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law & Policy is pleased to announce a new program - The FERPA Compliance Certificate Program. Featuring a refreshing approach to developing knowledge and skills related to FERPA compliance, this innovative training will be facilitated by Melissa Carleton, FERPA expert, Senior Consultant at INCompliance Consulting and Partner at Bricker & Eckler.

The FERPA Compliance Certificate Program will cover the basics of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) compliance. This program will also feature interactive learning that will benefit persons who deliver educational services and handle education records on a daily basis.

Attendees will participate in synchronous weekly classes, receive complimentary resources and deliverables, and take part in weekly reviews based on real-world scenarios. Participants will leave this program with a strengthened ability to tackle student privacy questions facing their institutions and hopefully spot issues before they become major problems.
