Candee Chambers, Executive Director of DirectEmployers Association, will lead this 60-minute, conversation-driven DE Masterclass Roundtable discussing how to broaden your thinking when it comes to job descriptions in order to make them more inclusive, and to keep up with changing legal standards. Drawing on her lengthy experience as a recruiter, HR manager, and OFCCP compliance manager, Candee will moderate a practical discussion on creating and implementing new job descriptions that serve your diverse needs.
Lex Huth, Associate at Cadmus, and John Robinson, President and CEO of Our Ability, will share how accessible technology should be a standard in not only workplaces, but also in job descriptions, sharing their take on gender-neutral and inclusive language that supports engagement from job seekers with disabilities.
John C. Fox, Esq. of Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C. will join the panel to describe the legal requirements for job descriptions and their utility, when properly drafted and updated, to defend ADA complaints and compensation, promotion, and hiring decisions.
During this Masterclass, our panelists will share their perspectives on the following:
- Should you even have job descriptions?
- Practical tips to make your job descriptions speak to all your diverse audiences
