On May 26, 2016, the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association in collaboration with the Litigation Section, the University of Baltimore School of Law, and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law will host a Business and Technology Case Management Program Symposium at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

Since Maryland implemented its Business and Technology Case Management Program to address complex commercial and business litigation in its circuit courts, an increasing number of states have adopted specialized programs. The Symposium, Taking Stock of Maryland’s Business and Technology Case Management Program and Business Courts Around the Country, will focus on, and facilitate a constructive dialogue around, the evolution of business courts and case management programs over the past thirteen years. The Symposium presents a meaningful opportunity for Maryland’s legal and business communities to consider Maryland’s program in light of these innovations and refinements. Speakers, agenda and registration information can be found here.
