Action Required: Reporting Deadline for Physician Group Practice Is December 31, 2014

Earlier this year, Connecticut enacted P.A. 14 - 168, which requires hospitals, hospital systems, and physician group practices composed of 30 or more physicians to report to the attorney general and the Department of Public Health (DPH) certain information concerning their group practices. In the case of hospitals and hospital systems, the reports must include information related to physician groups owned by or affiliated with the hospital or hospital system. Reports must be filed on or before December 31, 2014, and annually thereafter.
