South Sudan:

On February 7th, for the first time since fighting escalated in South Sudan in December, the U.N. extended its relief operations in the town of Malakal to outside of the U.N. base. While the U.N. base in Malakal is providing shelter to approximately 28,000 displaced civilians, U.N. personnel is now also providing plastic sheeting, kitchen sets, mosquito nets, sleeping mats, and blankets to an additional 10,000 displaced citizens nearby.
