AL2024-008, Southern Orthopaedic Surgery Center, LLC, Montgomery County, AL: Proposes to develop a freestanding, non-hospital based, limited multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC) specializing in orthopedics and neurosurgery in the city of Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama. Upon completion, the proposed ASC will have six (6) operating rooms (two of which will be shelled out space only), two (2) procedure rooms, nine (9) pre-operative rooms, and fourteen (14) Phase I recovery stations. The applicant will invest in a robotic arm to assist with minimally invasive joint replacement surgery. Opposition: Jackson Hospital & Clinic, Inc. and Jackson Surgery Center, LLC; Baptist Medical Center South, and Montgomery Surgical Center, LLC. Opposition filed by parties listed 4/5/2024.
