As noted in previous posts (see previous posts of 03-13-18 and 03-14-18 here) House Bill (“H.B.”) 1007 and Senate Bill (“S.B.) 8 would add a subsection to a section of Subchapter 2 (Water Pollution) of the Arkansas Water and Air Pollution Control Act to address certain Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality permitting procedures associated with liquid animal waste management systems.

A companion bill filed by the same sponsors (Representative Wardlaw and Senator G. Stubblefield) was introduced into the Senate (Senate Bill 8).

By way of update, H.B. 1007 has been transmitted to the Governor for signature. Similarly, S.B. 8 has been transferred to the Governor for signature.
