The Arkansas Environmental Federation (“AEF”) is once again sponsoring two scholarships related to environmental education.
AEF has been sponsoring environmental education through its public education aid programs since 1974.
The initiative undertaken by AEF include what it describes as:
…valuable learning opportunities for diverse audience, ranging from junior high school students to college professors. The efforts have included for nearly five decades successful fundraisers to support students in pursuit of environmental knowledge.
The stated objective is to ensure that future generations are well-equipped to tackle environmental challenges.
The scholarships include:
- Mathis scholarship.
- Thurman scholarship.
