What Caused the BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy Data Breach?

According to these sources, on December 13, 2023, BioMatrix learned of a data security incident impacting its IT network. Through this investigation, BioMatrix learned that an unauthorized party accessed its IT network on December 8, 2023, during which they were able to access and potentially acquire confidential consumer information in the company’s possession.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, Injectable Therapy Services reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.
