Eleven Engineering, Inc. et al. v. Microsoft Corporation, C.A. No. 09-903– LPS, June 23, 2016.

Stark, C. J.   Claim construction opinion issues regarding three terms from one patent.  A Markman hearing took place on April 25, 2016.

The disputed technology relates to wireless radio frequency game control systems. The following terms were considered:

 1. "the controllers [base tranceiver] can use the synchronous time domain multiplexing to save power by turning off their [its] radio tranceivers when they are [it is not receiving or transmitting data"

  1. "radio   tranceiver" and "base transceiver”    
  2. "achieving a small system latency with a small standard deviation and therefore minimizing the user's perceived control lag"
