Commercial Passenger and Cargo Flights Between U.S. and Venezuela Suspended

Because of security concerns, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on May 15, 2019, ordered the suspension of all commercial passenger and cargo flights between the United States and Venezuela.

The suspension of flights is effective immediately and will remain in effect indefinitely. In the meantime,DHS will continue to monitor the situation, and said it will reconsider the measure if and when conditions in Venezuela change.
