On June 29 and 30, 2015, the Connecticut General Assembly conducted a special legislative session following the close of the 2015 regular session. Among other things, the General Assembly passed a bill to implement the state budget for the biennial period ending June 30, 2017. Governor Dannel P. Malloy signed this bill into law on June 30, 2015. The budget implementer bill, now known as June Special Session Public Act 15-5, contains a number of health care-related provisions.
