Council Capital has announced it has closed its third PE fund, Council Capital III, LP.

Council Capital, based in Nashville, is a healthcare PE firm with approximately $300 million of capital under management. It makes control and minority investments, targeting companies with enterprise values between $10-50 million.

The firm’s third fund totaled over $150 million, exceeding its target of $125 million and hitting the fund’s hard cap.

Since its founding in 2000, Council Capital has made 27 healthcare-related investments.
