On September 16, 2022, Country Doctor Community Clinic filed an official notice of a data breach with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights after the company experienced a hacking/IT incident that compromised consumer data placed in the care of the organization. According to CDCC, the breach resulted in the sensitive information of 38,751 people being leaked. Recently, CDCC sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the incident and what they can do to protect themselves from identity theft and other frauds.
