Since March 12, there have been 1,914 lawsuits (including 152 class actions) filed against employers due to alleged labor and employment violations related to the coronavirus.  States with the most filings include: California (449); New Jersey (228); Florida (162); New York (148); and Ohio (107). 

Industries with the most filings are: healthcare (460 cases); manufacturing (208 cases); retail (167 cases); public administration (163 cases); and hospitality (142 cases). 

The data reported here is collected, reviewed, and categorized from state and federal litigation filings generally. This interactive report highlights the multiple claims alleged and industries affected within each case filed.
