What Caused the Diversified Global Graphics Group Data Breach?

The Diversified Global Graphics Group data breach was only recently announced, and more information is expected in the near future. However, DG3’s filing with the Attorney General of Montana provides some important information on what led up to the breach. According to this source, DG3 recently detected unusual activity within its computer network. In response, DG3 launched an investigation, confirming that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network between February 5, 2024 and May 2, 2024. It was also determined that during this time, the unauthorized party was able to access and obtain confidential consumer information stored on DG3’s network.

After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, Diversified Global Graphics Group reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. While the breached information varies depending on the individual, it may include your name, address, Social Security number, and account numbers.

On May 31, 2024, Diversified Global Graphics Group sent out data breach letters to anyone who was affected by the recent data security incident. These letters should provide victims with a list of what information belonging to them was compromised.
