We are pleased to spotlight Courtney Seaver this month! Courtney is a Business Intake Specialist in our Boston office.

How long have you been at Wolf Greenfield?
I am coming up on my third year at Wolf Greenfield in September. I can’t believe how fast time has gone by!

How has being authentic helped you in your career?
I think being authentic has helped attract a great group of people who I surround myself with. Being able to feel comfortable being myself has helped me network as well as foster connections with those around me.

What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
The team I work with. We have become very close over the last year as our team has grown and evolved into what it is today. I feel so supported every day by my manager and co workers and I look forward to seeing and working with them every day.

What has been your favorite project/assignment at Wolf Greenfield?
That is a good question. In my role I work in Conflicts and Client Engagement, so I don’t work too closely with any particular clients or projects. I am currently assisting on a project that involves matching up eWorkflow requests to conflict checks. While it is tedious work, I love being able to connect weekly to work and solve different puzzles and interact with people I don’t typically talk to daily.

Why is diversity and inclusion in the workplace important to you?
Diversity and inclusion in the workplace is important to foster new ideas and improve understanding of others’ perspectives. I grew up in an area of New Hampshire where there was not a lot of diversity. I knew I wanted to live and work somewhere where I was surrounded by people who were different than myself with different backgrounds.

I have been really enjoying the affinity groups that Wolf Greenfield has to offer. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with people who you do not normally interact with on a personal level. I especially have loved the The First-Generation Affinity Group. It has made me think about ways that being a first generation college graduate has impacted me in the work place and my personal life.

What is something most people don’t know about you?
Something most people don’t know about me is that I am a certified POUND instructor! I started taking classes after college and became certified when I used to work at the YMCA in New Hampshire where my family is from.
