On November 22, 2013, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) published a list of source for which no construction permit is required.
DHEC periodically updates the list and publishes it in the State Register. The list can be found here. Questions regarding the updated exemption list are to be directed to DHEC’s Division of Engineering Services.
