Inspired by renowned medical districts in the nation’s greatest cities, Tampa General Hospital and USF Health Morsani College of Medicine have partnered with the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council to create a life sciences epicenter in Tampa — the Tampa Medical and Research District. Together, these leaders are building an inclusive ecosystem to attract top talent and world-class innovation, serving as a catalyst for job creation and a healthier, more prosperous region.
In this in-person program, our panelists will share their vision and plans for the TGH Medical District, ongoing goals, and its impact on the region, the state, and beyond, including real estate and surrounding development, wage growth and talent attraction, workforce housing, and community benefits. They will also talk about the future of Tampa Bay and health care in Florida, and their efforts to shape the economic future of our region.
