On November 4, the FDIC issued its list of state nonmember banks recently evaluated for compliance with the CRA. The evaluations, covering ratings assigned in August 2024, assessed how well banks met the credit needs of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, while maintaining safe operations. The FDIC’s recent evaluations included 51 banks, with three banks were rated as “Needs to Improve,” while the remaining institutions received a “Satisfactory” rating, but one was rated as “Outstanding.” No bank evaluated had greater than $1 billion in assets.
