MMF Regulation: ESMA guidelines on reporting to NCAs

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published official translations of its guidelines on reporting to national competent authorities (NCAs) under Article 37 of the Regulation on money market funds (MMF Regulation). Publication of the official translations in all EU official languages triggers the application date of the guidelines two months later, 22 August 2020. NCAs must notify ESMA whether they comply, or intend to comply, with the guidelines within this two-month period.
