What Caused the Futurity First Insurance Data Breach?

According to this source, FFIG recently completed an investigation after detecting suspicious activity on its computer network. This investigation revealed that an unauthorized party was able to access three employee and six independent agent email accounts. While FFIG couldn’t determine what information the unauthorized party actually viewed in the account, the company went through all affected email accounts to determine what the unauthorized party had access to.
