In the recently enacted 2015-2016 State Budget, the “Capital Restructuring Financing Program” (CFRP), which provides up to $1.2 billion in capital funding to support DSRIP project goals, was significantly amended to require regionally balanced distribution. The Program as revised must now ensure, to the extent practicable, that CFRP funds are awarded regionally in proportion to the applications received under the RFA. Furthermore, projects awarded under CRFP are now ineligible for funding under the “Health Care Facility Transformation Program: Kings County” and “Health Care Facility Transformation Program: Oneida County Project” programs. As a result, DOH has now withdrawn the original RFA #14-10100351 and replaced it with RFA #15-04100252.

Applicants interested in CFRP participation must now file new or revised applications on or before May 6, 2015. The website to apply is: http://www.health.ny.gov/funding/rfa/1504100252/index.htm.
