3/16/2020 Update - 5:30 p.m.: Industrial Commission hearings will now be limited to phone hearings. Hearing Officers will call all parties by conference call. Representatives must upload the ICON document type HRGCONTACT for each claim to provide the best number to be contacted for hearings. Please visit the Industrial Commission website for further details.

All Ohio Industrial Commission hearings will be suspended Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Beginning March 18, 2020, the Commission will evaluate how to best proceed with future hearings. At this time, the tentative plan is to begin conducting hearings by telephone for only the following issues:

  • permanent total disability
  • temporary total disability or the termination of temporary total disability
  • wage loss
  • allowance
  • additional allowance

If you have hearings scheduled for the week of March 16 and have not heard from the Industrial Commission as to whether your hearing is going forward, follow this link to verify or call the Industrial Commission where your hearing is located. The relevant telephone number is located on your hearing notice.
