Effective March 1, 2017, Park Impact Fees will be assessed on new residential permits issued throughout the City of Orlando. The fees are as follows:

$966 – for each new single-family home | $825 – for each new multi-family unit

Permits submitted prior to March 1, but not issued, will be assessed a park impact fee at the rate in place at the time of building permit issuance. Residential development for which a foundation permit has been issued prior to March 1 is exempt from the impact fee even if a building permit for vertical work is issued on or after March 1. To avoid this additional fee, have residential building permits issued prior to the March 1 implementation of Park Impact Fees.
