In this blog post, Attorney Neil Brunetz outlines a few specific areas to review each year to ensure the wellness of your workplace health and safety program.

As I start a new year, I always like to take a look and determine a few key things to review. Ordinarily I deal with health, family and work issues; but thought how this should apply to the Health and Safety Industry equally.

The health of your safety program directly correlates to the wellbeing of your workplace family, as well as your business. Three things that are always worth reviewing at the beginning of each year are:

  • Safety policies and procedures;
  • Certifications; and
  • Licenses

It is always worth confirming these items are in order to start the new year.

I hope each of you is able to start the new year on the right foot and hopefully my suggestions provide some benefit.

Best of luck for 2019.
