The deadline for employers to comply with New York State’s new sexual harassment training requirement has been pushed out to October 9, 2019. The original deadline was January 1, 2019.

However, employers with employees in New York will still be required to adopt a compliant no-harassment policy and distribute it to employees by this October 9 (one week from today). Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) released the final package yesterday.
