On June 11, 2020, Governor Sununu announced that the New Hampshire Stay at Home Order expires June 15th. In its place, a “Safer at Home” advisory will be issued, eliminating any restrictions on group gatherings and removing the distinction between essential and non-essential businesses.

Additional industries will also be allowed to reopen on June 15th. Among those will be:

  • Health and Fitness Centers, at 50% capacity or limiting the number of people in order to maintain a minimum of 6 feet of distance from each other while in workout rooms, and to wear face masks while not working out. See guidance here.
  • Bowling alleys, establishing a maximum number of people per lane and other entertainment centers, with strengthened capacity limitations. See guidance here.
  • Amateur and youth sports limited to outdoor team sporting events and expanding group training sessions as well as the reopening of indoor recreational facilities. See guidance here.
  • Small race tracks at 50% capacity, tourist trains, and organized motorcycle rides, following the modified outdoor attractions guidance. See guidance here.
  • Libraries, limiting the number of customers inside a library at a given time and spacing customers at least 6 feet apart in any waiting line. See guidance here.
  • Museums and Art Galleries, limited to 50% of overall capacity or limiting the number of people to maintain at minimum 6 feet of space between them. See guidance here.
  • Funeral homes following specific guidance. See here.

Also announced is the reopening on June 29, 2020, of indoor movie theaters, performing arts venues and amusement parks. Additionally, all NH businesses will be allowed to be reopened, provided they follow State guidance rules.
