On Jan. 15, 2014, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration launched a new educational resource, Worker Safety in Hospitals. The online resource provides an extensive set of materials—including fact books, self-assessments and practice guides—that are designed to help hospitals prevent workplace injuries, assess workplace safety, enhance patient safety programs and implement safety and health management programs.
