Pamlico Capital has announced the closing of its sixth fund.

The fund, Pamlico Capital VI, closed at the fund’s hard cap of $1.75 billion. It was oversubscribed, exceeding its initial $1.5 billion target.

Pamlico, founded in 1988 and based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a private equity firm that invests in middle-market companies in North America. The firm is focused on growth equity and buyout opportunities within healthcare IT and a few other sectors. Pamlico seeks equity investments of $50 million to $200 million in growing companies.
