Today, Philadelphia dramatically eased the time restrictions on construction.

The city stated previously, on April 29, 2020, that construction could take place within very precise time periods. That is no longer the case.

Those restrictions have been removed and virtually all construction can resume normal periods for work. Contractors, subcontractors and all related activities must continue to comply with all applicable requirements of the city, state, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety Administration. Time limitations remain for construction on one- or two-family dwellings.
