On 8 November 2018, the Joint Committee of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) published a Consultation Paper concerning amendments to the PRIIPs KID. This follows a letter sent by the ESAs to the European Commission on 1 October 2018 setting out their intention to make proposals to:
(a) Support legislative changes to avoid the possibility of duplicating information requirements for investment funds from 1 January 2020; and
(b) Tackle various key issues that have arisen in relation to the KID.
