CMS recently proposed for comment updates to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule that are focused on implementing key provisions of the Affordable Care Act, including removing certain barriers to preventive services, providing patients with written notice of alternative imaging suppliers, e-prescribing incentives for physicians, and payment reductions for advanced imaging services.
