In a letter delivered to Congressional leaders , investors noted that this critical tax credit creates broad economic benefits, both for wind power producers and their suppliers across the nation. Several of these investors met with Congressional staff to discuss their support for the credit.

E.ON Climate & Renewables North America has secured $223.6 million in financing for the 203 MW Magic Valley Wind Farm, located in Willacy County, Texas. The financing includes institutional equity financing of approximately $167.7 million and a commitment to fund expected capital contributions of approximately $55.9 million from a group of investors that includes JPM Capital Corp. and Wells Fargo Wind Holdings LLC in exchange for a partial interest in EC&R's recently completed Magic Valley Wind Farm.

Lightway Solar America, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Lightway Green New Energy Co., Ltd., has announced the execution of 62.8 MW of contracts through their project development subsidiary, Lightway Solar America Project Development, LLC. Lightway has implemented a sales model in which 11.9 MW of solar panels will be invested into these projects in exchange for equity positions with a commitment from their project partners to purchase the remaining 50.9 MW through executed supply agreements.

Lightway Solar America, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Lightway Green New Energy Co., Ltd., and Pristine Sun, LLC have entered in an agreement whereas Lightway will supply 11.8 megawatts of solar panels for 12 projects located throughout California ranging from 325 KW to 1.95 MW.
