What Caused the Salus Group Data Breach?

While the investigation wasn’t able to pinpoint which emails the unauthorized party accessed, further investigation confirmed that there were emails and attachments within the account that contained confidential consumer information.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, Salus Group reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.
