On July 19, 2024, Shorenstein Realty Services, L.P. (“Shorenstein Properties”) filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Massachusetts after discovering that confidential information in the company’s possession was subject to unauthorized access. In this notice, Shorenstein explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access consumers’ sensitive information, which includes their names and Social Security numbers.
