What Caused the SysInformation Healthcare Services Data Breach?

According to these sources, SysInformation detected unusual activity within its computer network back in June 2023. In response, SysInformation secured its systems, notified law enforcement, and then launched an investigation to learn more about the incident and what, if any, consumer information was compromised.
Ultimately, SysInformation’s investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access its IT network between June 3, 2023 and June 18, 2023, during which the unauthorized party may have removed files containing confidential consumer information.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, SysInformation Healthcare Services reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.
